A quirky hotel, rather oddly laid out, with some seriously narrow and winding stairs ... but on a great square in the old city center. Good breakfast in inviting lobby; several nice cafes and restaurants on the square.

The room we had was very large and warm,the toilet was on the same landing and not a problem,the shower was in the room,great position in the centre, you can unlod your car then put it in the free carpark around the corner,the price is right,friendly staff.

Here for the Tomorrowland Festival - In historic area- best locatoin - Friendly, cool and casual staff - Completely acceptable rooms - Communal toilet didn't bother us - Missed out on breakfast (slept in) but it looked good!

We spent one night at the Scheldezicht with a larger group. Staff was very friendly and helpful. The location was fine for us, a short walk from the main bar and restaurant area of town. Welcome was friendly, Shortcomings were the lack of television in one room, when this had been advertised when we made the original booking. The same went for internet access, which again had been advertised, but was not available in the hotel.
