It's not The Ritz, but this hotel did the trick. It's just a stones throw from Antwerpen Central so if arriving by train, it's the perfect spot. The staff was decent, and the room was nice, clean, modern, and decent sized. Only complaint is that the wireless internet was down. more

The hotel is just a few yards from Central Station within easy reach of subway, tram and rail travel. Rooms were clean and appear to have been refurbished recently. The rooms were modern and fairly clean. The staff were okay and breakfast was marginal. However, the location is great - a one minute walk from Centraal Station. Overall, good value for the money. more

At first glance the Agora seems OK but further investigation shows otherwise. The owners of this hotel seem more interested in trying to pretend they are flashy hotel owners than simply providing the basics. We've stayed here 3 times: August 2007, October 2008, December 2008, and March 2009. Never been disappointed. Yes the rooms are small. Yes the hallways are narrow (watch it with fat suitcases or strollers). Yes the decor is minimalist. Yes the Astridplein (Queen Astrid Square) can be rowdy, especially on weekend nights.
