Tastefully decorated, it is effectively your own apartment rather than just a room in a B&B and it's location is superb aswell. The Big Sleep is a fantastic property... The location is brilliant: it's not in the very city centre; it's ain a much better quiter little street just 5-minute walk away. No reason to repeat everyone's comments - but in short, the location, room and hostess were all wonderful. We really enjoyed Antwerp based on the location of this place (when we ventured into other areas of the city, we always found ourselves disappointed and came right back to the Kloosterstraat). Grocery store, laundry and many cafes and shops all nearby.... more

I stayed here on my honeymoon last month and it was fantastic. The location is unbeatable and the ground floor room is huge and you even get a little enclosed garden. Our host Els was really nice and brought us a great breakfast each morning and geve us great advice. This place would be hard to beat in Antwerp Definately... more

A real bargain - a huge suite, beautifully decorated in a lovely part of Antwerp. 5 minutes walk to the main sights, but out of the tourist crowds. Excellent breakfast served in your own little dining room by the very friendly and helpful owner. Makes you feel like you are living in Antwerp rather than just visiting. Highly recommended. more

I stayed here in February '09 on two seperate occasions and wish every accommodation experience was this charming. The upstairs appartment is beautiful - warm, tastefully decorated and completely spacious. The ammenities are great and the breakfasts totally tasty and satisfying. The owner Els is lovely and truthfully it's probably the nicest place I have stayed for years. more
