Hotel Amigo has a wonderful location (la grande place) and probably is one of the best hotels in Belgium, BUT: - rooms are not that big, and really cold (but everywhere in Belgium seems that the heaters are not working...); there's even no boiler in the room.. - room service is too expensive and the quality is not that good more

My daughter and I stayed here for 4 nights. Great staff. Allowed early check-in. Nice room. Excellent location and room view. The only problem we had was the street noise. Drunks and trucks could be heard all night long. I would still stay here again. more

I paid a reduced rate of 199 euros a night and was upgraded from classic to deluxe at no extra charge - so don't pay the 620 euro rack rate! This is a superb hotel, and it's worth getting the deluxe room if you can afford it - you really will appreciate the difference. The only negatives were the poor... more
