Lovely hotel, better than we hoped. Nice and clean although the pillows where a bit flat. Also there was no air con or fan and the window barely let any breeze through so we were really hot. Otherwise though the room was nice - we had bath with lovely hot water, and a TV. Huge apologies to the chambermaid, my... More

I specifically requested a quiet room. they gave me the room between the elevator and the main road! the front desk explained me room allocation was performed by the manager and they couldnt help me. You can hear your neighbor pee and there are some random pipe and heating system noises during the night. The room is ikea style furniture,... More

Room was a bit shabby/chic, the curtains weren't drapped very nice, other minor things. Nice art deco look. When we stayed here, the hotel was renovated from the outside. We did not know until we arrived. So our balcony did have a nice view over Brussels, but there was construction going on. Would have been nice if we were told... More

Stayed here with work for one night. Room was a decent size but smelt like it needed a bit of airing! Shower pressure was terrible - more of a trickle. Room had a balcony overlooking a busy road which was very noisy from about 5.30am onwards so sleep was disrupted. Also saw a pest control worker wandering round reception which... More

stayed there for a week for a business meeting - well located right next to metro and colse to EC buildings, a 10-15 minute straightforward walk into town. Hotel was ok - check in fine - room ok but nothing special. Shower was good but soap despenser empty and was never refilled. Breakfast was fine. WiFI not included and quite... More

I spent two nights at the Chambord in February 2013. My experience accords with that of most other reviewers. Staff are very friendly and helpful; they are liberal with 24-hour wifi passes (although free wifi is one of the benefits of booking through their own website); the position is very good, on top of a metro station, and a short... There are many positive aspects of this hotel, but also a few flaws that makes med rate it average. To start with the positive things, I found the staff very friendly and helpful. Written information said wifi would cost, but actually it was given for free (24 hrs) once you got an access code form the front desk. And it... More

I've stayed at Hotel Chambord for a week end. I was very happy with the hotel, the cleanliness, the rooms very clean and spacious, the breakfast, the location...but was very unhappy with the booking office! I decided to book directly through their website, and it took 2 times fax + 3 emails, before having their confirmation! This was very disappointing... More

I stayed 2 nights for business. Although I had just confirmed my room and early arrival time 2 days before, the woman at the desk the morning I arrived could find no record of the booking whatsoever and said there were no rooms available. She also spoke little or no English (French and Spanish). I had to wait a half... More

I stayed here for one night for business. The staff were friendly and the location was excellent. Minor point was that I had a "business room" but they could not really offer good WIFI. I got one hour for free but the cost of more access was inappropriately high for a "business room". Another drawback was that the hotel bar... More
