I was there for two nights. The reviews on Tripadvisor (especially the nice and promising pictures, the very professional website and the interesting concept made me booking the hotel for me and my partner. Unfortunately there was a bad smell from the shower and it was rather loud from the street. Also, the breakfast was rather meagre. Positively, the WLAN-internet... more

I stayed at Hotel Welcome for a week every year for almost the last ten years. The rooms are fantastic. The service is great . The personnel is always very friendly and ready to help. The hotel can arrange transport from and to the hotel, providing a very reliable service. It is well located, close to amenities, next to a... more

Travel to Brussels on a regular bases. Of the two hotels I normally stay at this is my favorite and I have stayed there at least 3 or 4 times this year. This is not a cookie cutter chain hotel but one with a unique atmosphere boasting a different design in every room. Depending on which room you reserve, I... more

We stayed two nights in this charming, eclectic hotel. Loved the location - easy access to transportation and the squares. Good breakfast and very helpful staff - I would definitely stay here again more

Hosts were extremely personable and helpful---went way beyond expectations. Hotel is in a great location, easy walk to all major city areas. Rooms were very unique and interesting in decor, not necessarily that large but plenty big enough and things worked fine. Rates for the location were also reasonable. Would definitely recommend and return myself. more

With artifacts and decor from countries around the globe this hotel is truly unusual, with each room having it's own personality and size. It's fun to see the details in the rooms. The Tibet room is remote with a balcony but tricky to maneuver your luggage and even to find the room. Nice location on a plaza. more

This is a very special place, because it is so individual and non-standard. The hotel has a very warm atmosphere. The rooms are equipped extraordinarily well. It si clean and modern, but very cozy. WLAN is available. And a good breakfast. more

In the past several years my husband & I have stayed at the Welcome a night here & there. We do agree for the most part with the positive & negative many reviews we read. This October we checked in & were very displeased with our room & I told the desk clerk I hate the room, he gave us... more

This place was such a treat! Every room is decorated and captures the essence of an exotic and far-away country! (Our room was called "Zanzibar") It's whimsical, exciting and fun just to explore the incredible details that have gone into creating these "settings". Owners Michael and Sophie Smeesters define the word "hospitality". The breakfast is to die for! All the... more

My wife and I stayed at Hotel Welcome for two nights in July 2009 as part of an Inter-Rail trip through Belgium, Luxembourg and France. We booked directly with the hotel as we found this to be the most cost effective way. There are two huge plus points for Hotel Welcome – firstly the competitive price in a city of... more
