Not a bad place, the staff were great, very friendly, the lobby is cosy and has a bar so there's a nice place to stay even if you're not planning a night out. The only problem with it is that the rooms (in the building across the road at least) were incredibly cold!!! It was almost unbearable to sleep there.... More

We've visited this hostel in May 2013 in a group of 8 ppl for 2 nights. We've booked 2 x 4-bedded dorms. The place is not bad in general. Good location, next to metro and tram stations, 20-25 mins walking distance to the city centre. Staff seems to be nice, but as I used to work in a hostel, I... More

I stayed here for two nights in April, a bit pricey for a hostel. But overall a nice place, had a decent kitchen for cooking, rooms were decent, had a nice courtyard, safe place to store my bike. Only downfall was receptions staff were a bit dry to talk to, didn't have the same hostel staff feel to them, also... More

it was a bit dirty, the breakfast included was not so good, the price could be lower, if you need to stay in brussels you should check more for a better place to stay. the best thing is i met a couple of great guys there!! the worst, they do not let you buy your own booze, you have to... More

I selected this as the cheapest accomodation in Brussels. I was happy with the room, it was warm and clean during cold december, though the cinderblock walls gave it a bit of a prison feel. The showers ran hot, but bring slippers for the cold halls. The kitchen was not large, and must get chaotic when busy, but it had... More

We were in Brussels for a few nights for the International Tattoo Convention and found this place by accident. Looking back we wished we'd checked online first. We booked a private room as 'a treat' and were greeted with the strong smell of urine. The room had not been cleaned properly and the grime in the shower was gross. I... More

We stayed one night in a double room with private bathroom facilities. The shower was dark, and the hot water took ages to come, which is annoying with the 10 second button they have. It all had a pretty yucky look about it. The hotel lobby area smelt like toilet pipes as did the stairs and halls. It was basic,... More

Normally I search hostels on Ttrip Advisor before I get to a city, but for some reason before going to Brussels, I didnt do that. So while I was at the bus station, I asked someone at the help desk where the nearest hostel was and this is where they pointed me.... Upon entering it has a nice warm atmosphere.... More

This hostel, was ok, but nothing to write home about. (-) The breakfast finished at 9am, which is a little ridiculous for a youth hostel! The breakfast/cleaning staff were always rude/grumpy and the front desk staff told us the wrong meeting point for a walking tour. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, and squeaky! It was impossible to get onto the... More

This was not a bad experience but it was an average experience that costed too much money for what it's worth. Brussels is overall an expensive town, I don't see a common sense in their prices but that's how it is. Our over-payed hostel room had 2 small beds, semi-closet (until now, I'm not sure what that was) and a... More
