A very centrally situated hotel in a lovely compact city. Plenty of restaurants nearby. Hotel is rather basic, but perfectly clean and adequate. Really nice hotel. We stayed here as part of a package when we visited the WW1 battlefield sites. The Hotel was clean, the food was nice. The staff were really friendly and most spoke English. Excellent central location. Would definately stay there again. more

The hotel is clean and the staff are courtious and very professional. It is an ideal budget hotel situated in the town centre. Although it is not the Ritz, all guests are treated very well and on an individual basis. All the staff speak quite good English. The food is very good. While an obliging hotel which has improved since parting company with the Tulip chain, there were a number of issues which would make me consider returning. Most of all, there was no air conditioning in the room in mid-summer. Opening windows resulted in a plague of mosquitos. Rooms are very small, and the carpet in mine was filthy. Stayed at hotel in mid-September. Privately run now - no longer a Tulip Inn.Hotel has a lift (elevator!).Staff are friendly and helpful.
