Just recovering from a great stay in Gent with friends. Hostel 47 was part of it. Although the automated heating system broke down in our room (which made it 25 degrees inside) the rest of the stay was good value for money. I stayed one night in this hostel. I was lucky because I stayed alone in the 6-people room. Bathrooms and toilets were really clean. The best that I've seen so far. Wi-fi did not exist in third floor. Breakfast was like what it had to be. Accomodation was quite good. 5-10 minutes walking to the central areas.

We stayed at this hostel with 19 women for a bachelor party. Although it has been at least 10 years ago since I stayed at a hostel, this was one of the best I've ever stayed in. Clean bathrooms, clean toilets, beautiful beds, designy interior and good breakfast. No standard hostel at all! Well done Hostel 47!

The hostel was clean and had decent, modern rooms and facilities. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. A bit overpriced, but in line with the rest of Belgium I reckon.
