Our group of six had a fantastic stay in Gent over the UK bank holiday weekend. Maison Claudine is located right in the heart of the city but in a very quiet spot. It's charm and character, and our friendly host Arthur, helped to make for a very enjoyable short stay in this under-rated city. Well worth a visit! more

It was hard therefore to choose one, but La Maison de Claudine deserves certainly special mention. Build as a 17th century cloister and former home to the famous writer Hugo Claus, this very charming B&B... more

Claudine Bovyn's bed and breakfast is a large old cloister house tucked away on a little alley near a spectacular cathedral. The location is excellent: right in the heart of Ghent, near several tram stops and just down the street from great shopping and peaceful cafes. It's a busy area, but the house itself is quiet and retreat-like.Madame Claudine is... more
