The location for this hotel was excellent. Imagine the city square, and the hotel to the side overlooking it. We had two inter-connecting rooms, and compared to European standards, these rooms were HUGE. The decor of the rooms was a bit understated, but very nice. The rooms had two queen size beds, very comfortable bedding, a couch, two chairs, a... more

Visited the hotel on a 3 night stopover in Bruges and would recommend this hotel highly. Decided to have dinner one evening in the restaurant with my wife and 2 friends and unfortunately 2 of us ordered Steak. Completely uneateable due to fat and gristle and we had no option but to return them both. We observed a number of... more

Our room had an extra large bed that I really enjoyed, but the ceilings are so low (as with all old hotels). Location is great, just 5 min walk into the town center. My only complaint is that the rates should be cheaper for what it is. I paid around $140 Euros and that didn't include parking or breakfast. I... more

Having 3 children and a dog, my Wife and I don't get away on our own very often so when my Mum offered to look after the kids for a couple of days we had no trouble deciding where to go. We first visited this hotel in October 08 when we took the Eurostar and had a great 3 day... more

My fiancée and I have just returned from a 3 night stay at the excellent NH Brugge, at which we only stayed because a horrendous mix up by Thomas Cook. We had booked to stay at the Hotel Flanders, which we had carefully chosen based on a number of factors including reviews on this site. However due to some sort... more

We stayed in the Sofitel (now NH) in August 2006. The staff were friendly and upgraded us to a superior room. The room was therefore very spacious, clean and beautifully designed. The hotel is in a good location an easy walk from the train station and also into the heart of the old town. The breakfast was very nice. Bruges... more

Stayed for two nights and no complaints at all. Comfortable bed that four could sleep in, coffee in the morning, swim before breakfast and very pleasant staff from reception to the cleaners. 15 euro for breakfast (if you book night before) is a bargain in this city. Not centrally located but a little bit of planning enables you to take... more

The hotel is in a good location on t'Zand square, close to the train station and the tourist information office. The rooms are modern and spacious with good coffee making facilities and nice toiletries. The buffet breakfast was good, if a little expensive, although it is cheaper on saturday and sunday mornings. The reception staff were very efficient and helpful.... more
