The location is satisfactory. The staff seemed bothered by any requests for information or directions; the parrot was the friendliest of the bunch. The bedding and beds were shabby. A Belgium waffle would have been more comfortable to sleep on! A continental breakfast was 15 Euro. It's not a terrible place, but it's not 4 star material. more

Here's the honest good then bad. Great location, good parking, nice bar, superb breakfast. Luxury room was threadbare, carpet soiled, and 2-floored room smelled of smoke. Pool needed cleaning and ground very slippery (mold?). Tried to dry my daugher's hair with hotel hairdryer; it exploded in fire, knocked out power, and I had to throw it to keep from being... more

The parrot was the only warm blooded thing with manners at the reception of this sterile enviroment! I understand ther has been a recent management change and perhaps this has had an unsettling effect this Summer- but I urge 'the Acacia' to quickly nip there charactorless reception, and total lack of customer service in the bud.. or it will be... more

Located in the centre of Brugge with it's own secure car park. Staff very friendly, including the Parrot in the Reception area. Public areas very nicely furnished. Has a Bar and a restaurant (breakfast only). Breakfast was included in our deal. Our bedroom was a 2 storey affair with a staircase which might prove difficult to elderly persons. The bedroom... more

Having read the several glowing reviews of this hotel on Trip Advisor, I can only assume that we were unlucky with the room allocation. No flat screen TV or electronic safe or little balcony, and the layout of the bedroom was "unusual" to put it kindly. When booking, I had the choice of either a standard room or a Duplex... more

Well situated hotel in quiet street close to all major sights. We had a newly refurbished room with a samll balcony overlooking a little garden. It was lovely. Not a huge room but nicely laid out and a good bathroom too. Flat screen TV on the wall gave even more space. Staff friendly and helpful.. Good breakfast in lovely surroundings.... more

This is a lovely hotel in a central part of town, but it took us an hour to find it when we drove there. (And we had rung before hand to get directions....) So if you are thinking of driving there, use the car park by the train station - its cheaper and easier to find. All rooms are split... more

Excellent hotel. You'll be greated by their African grey parrot. Nice breakfast, though the scrambled eggs may have been powdered. CANNOT BEAT THIS LOCATION, certainly not at this price. Pool is too small for laps, but there IS an indoor pool to refresh yourself after a sauna. Though this particular aspect is nice, as soon as another party arrives, it... more
