General - Location is close enough to Town Centre to walk, if you enjoy walking. The hotel is across street from nice canal. Bus stop is several blocks away (from Town Centre) so walk to center. An adequate grocery store is ver near bus stop. The other direction, along the canal, there is a self serve laundry. Some of the... more

No frills, a bit dated, nothing fancy but does the job. Some of the rooms have better views than others is the worst thing I could say about it. Its a short but pretty walk to the main square and a lovely, quiet location in a fabulous town. more

This hotel could be so much better. It is in the beautiful town of Bruges and facing onto a canal with an 800 year old bridge. The breakfast was good. The staff weren't very helpful when we asked about transport to the train station or booking tours. He told us to ring the tour number ourselves! The room was clean... more

My daughter and I went on a road trip through Belgium during spring break and stayed a night at this hotel. I was having a hard time driving around in Brugge, even with my GPS, because of the one way narrow streets and lots of people so we parked close to the city center (St Jacob parking lot I think?)... more

We've found that one by chance. We were passing through Brugge on our way from Holland and because we like the city, we decided to stay for one night. We've checked few other hotels we stayed before (Martin's, Flanders etc.), but the're fully booked, so we asked for a room in Europ. Its location is great - right on the... more

Just back from a 3 night stay at this hotel. The service was friendly. The rooms, whilst small, were clean and adequate. The bathroom only had a shower in it, but this was good and powerful. The room did not offer much of a view, just a whitewashed wall, but as we didn’t spend much time in our room during... more

Just come back from a fantastic 6 night break with the hubby- the first 2 nights were spent in Bruges before moving on to Paris. Was impressed before we arrived by the helpfulness of the staff who replied promptly to my emails asking about how to get there from the station. Basically- you can walk but it's the best part... more

My husband and I stayed here for an anniversary. The room was pokey and very much in need of a good clean and an update in the ensuite. The toilet suffered from months of little attention to deposits of limescale or whatever it was, and the panelled walls and chairs were dusty. The towels were of a poor quality. The breakfast... more

Delightful location within the old town, overlooking one of the many canals. Parking not easy. Hotel clean and staff most helpful. Excellent & plentiful buffet breakfast. Need to seek out old town restaurant for evening meals (= expensive, everywhere!) Our room was an attic conversion with exposed timbers but perfectly comfortable. Old town centre 10 minutes' walking. For Bruges central... more

Just had three days here with a friend. OK for a short break but there were some problems. First, we had booked one of the rooms to be a smoking room but they didn't have a record of that. When we insisted, they did, however, allow smoking in one the rooms. The bathrooms were cramped and slightly tatty and one... more
