We loved this hotel for many reasons--old world charm, comfortable welcoming rooms, delightful and most helpful staff, great breakfast and perfect location. The library and calnal patio were delightful and so inviting that they made you want to stay there instead of tour the city. Staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful as to restaurants etc. Would definately stay there again. more

We absolutely loved this hotel. Romantic with real olde world charm. The staff were really helpful (recommended an amazing restaurant just around the corner - Couvert - we had an beautiful meal). Gorgeous public areas full of antiques, bags of character. Our room had an amazing view of the canal, very comfortable beds and crisp white sheet, breakfast was great... more

Situatied a five minute walk to the center, the hotel is on a quiet canal. However, it is close to everything you want to see in Bruges - which is itself, a suprisingly open, friendly city with many surprises. The hotel dining and drawing rooms were exception - large and open with high coffered ceilings appointed in European elegance of... more

The canal view best rooms look nice enough but in room 108 the air conditioner was filthy and had clearly not been cleaned for years. The horrible bathroom was three steps down and very small with no shower and the marble tiles were coming away from the wall around the edge of the bath. This is simply not good enough... more

Dear Madam , Dear Sir We were very pleased to have you as our guests in Martin's Orangerie during your last visit to Bruges. However we are most concerned to learn that you experienced some inconveniences during your stay. We carefully noted down your remarks on the airco & bathroom problem and of course we take this matter very seriously....

With a garden right on the canal, and the canal tours right there, the main market Square just five minutes away and everything within reach, this is the perfect location for a walking bruges break. Superb, if not cheap, breakfasts include champagne, yummt breads and pastries and individually cooked hot courses. Our room was immaculate, with views to the front... more

Thanks to the two Fredericks and Glen for making our long week-end stay so enjoyable. This really is a super hotel, the breakfast is fantastic, the location is excellent, don't understand previous trip advisor comments about it being down an alley - the whole of Bruge is little streets and alleys - that is part of the charm! more

It is a wonderful boutigue hotel in the perfect location of Bruges. The staff is particularly attentive and might offer you a treat if you are staying on a special occassion. The rooms are clean and beautifully decorated. Location of the hotel is superb - very close to all sightseeings! more

Whilst not cheap, this hotel is in an excellent location in the heart of Bruges. The staff were all very helpful, the room we had (on the first floor) was clean and looked over the canal. Bathroom was good but not spectacular (hence the 4/5 rating for rooms). Breakfast was one of the best we've had in a hotel; just... more

This stunning beautiful hotel took my parents breath away when they arrived. I sent them their for my mum's 60th birthday and the staff made her birthday very special. The location is fantastic as you are in the centre of everything, and the hotel itself was immaculate. The staff were extremley helpful and friendly and did everything they could to... more

My sister and I stayed at the Orangerie Hotel in October to celebrate my 50th birthday. Everything about the hotel exceeded our expectations. As we had booked a reasonable package with Eurostar we would not have been too surprised to have been put in the bowels of the building, as it was we were delighted with the rooms (a previous... more
