This is the second time we have stayed in Bruges for a long weekend and this hotel was just perfect. Location very easy to find, garage parking a real bonus and ideally situated in a quiet street just a 10 minute stroll from the centre. The hotel staff were extremely friendly and eager to make our stay perfect in every... more

Lovely hotel right on a canal, 10mins walk from town centre. Beautiful conservatory. Warm welcome from the owners. Breakfast was great. Parking available short stay free- or can hire garage. Room nice, with balcony. Only negatives were no tea/coffee in room and room slightly small &up several steep flights of stairs...but I bet if this was a problem for you... more

Although this is a charming hotel, our room was not quite as expected. We had reserved the hotel's deluxe category room which was listed as a "canal view room." However upon arrival, we were assigned to an attic room in an annex adjacent to the main building. This room had a tiny 2x2 foot window high up on the wall,... more

As stated by others this is an excellent place to stay in Brugge. The room and shower room were a bit small for the price but everything else was worth every euro. The best things about the place are the tasteful decor, pleasant atmosphere, the friendly, attentive and extremely helpful people and the location. I am glad we didn't stay... more

Stayed at the hotel over May bank holiday (UK) and was pleased with the choice. The hotel location is lovely, it is by the canal and although it is a 15 minute walk into the main square it is a nice walk, particularly welcome when walking off all those belgian chocolates! The hotel is family-run and so you get the... more

All l can say that this is a little gem of a hotel. In a wonderful position overlooking the canal and only a very pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre, so making this location extremely peaceful after a day of seeing all the sights of Bruge. All the staff had a smile and looked as though they were enjoying... more

The hotel is in a quieter area and very close to a bus stop allowing easy transport to/from the train station as well as to other areas of Brugge. One can easily walk or bike to any location quite easily. This family run hotel is tastefully decorated and very clean; Marc and his lovely wife are gifted hoteliers. The family... more

We stayed at the Ter Duinen for 3 nights in April 2008 - I had my 50th birthday and we had decided to 'celebrate' this milestone in Bruges - this is our favourite city for short breaks. The reviews of the hotel are generally accurate - there is a lovely atmosphere in the hotel and the staff are all smiles... more

We have stayed at the Ter Duinen twice now (2006 & 2007), and have booked for later this year (2008). This is a lovely hotel, with caring, helpful owners and staff, for whom nothing is too much trouble. It is situated just outside the city and away from the main tourist areas, but what a delightful 10 minute walk along... more

We loved our weekend stay in Bruges. There are lots of lovely restaurants and cafes. Lots of cobbled streets with chocolate shops and lace shops. We particularly enjoyed our ride on the horse and carriage, and the boat trip on the canal. It is a very relaxing place to visit . Hotel Ter Duinen is excellent. Immaculately clean and comfortable.... more
