Location wonderful! Hotel has a good feel about it., Restuarant was enjoyable. Our room was nothing to bragg about. Overall a good fit. I would go back, just a little more in tune with the rooms. more

Just in the heart of this medieval town everyone can feel enchanted (except Colin Farrell you must see a film before or after visiting the city :-) I don't think I could add any more useful information - or perhaps one tip: enjoy the breakfast in the tiny alcove above the water - their boiled eggs are just perfect :-) more

Just returned from a two night stay at this overpriced hotel. Beware, it trades solely on its wonderful position overlooking the canal in the centre of Bruges. One room we were shown was almost uninhabitable (torn curtains, loose rugs, torn bedspread, broken down beds and bathroom fitting hanging off wall). we were told the room was due a refit but... more

I stayed for two nights with my husband in the hotel. Our room was very nice, with a spacious and modern bathroom and a wonderful view to the channel. The staff was very kind and helpful. The restaurant is great, the breakfast and the food are delicious! We had a wonderful time in the hotel! more

My daughters and I stayed at this hotel for three nights. We fell in love with the Old World quality and the very friendly, incredibly gracious staff. Our room was a huge (and I mean HUGE) double that had two large beds plus a rollaway. There was also a very spacious sitting area that had a sofa, two chairs, and... more

We stayed here for one night with our 3 month old son. We were in room 4 on the first floor which was pretty big with a large bathroom and excellent views over the canal. The decor looked a bit dated but overall the room was clean and pleasant. However the bed was two singles made up separately rather than... more

I noticed this hotel on a previous trip to Brugge and decided to stay on this trip. Great location, romantic and a pretty nice room. Very friendly staff, typical continental breakfast (with a GREAT view) and very clean. We were told it is the oldest hotel in Brugge. We stayed for two nights. Biggest issue was the bathroom had a... more

This hotel is beautifully positioned in the centre of this historic town, boarderd on 2 sides by canels. The public areas are full of character and charm and the Junior suite we stayed in on the first floor was very spacious, simply and stylishly decorated but its most stunning feature has to be the views from every window. The bathroom... more

Old flanders building set very close to the centre on a small quite square. Lovely old ground floor restaraunt and lounge overlooking canal. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Rooms clean and plain but dated and a little frayed and lack the character of the building, pot luck on room size given. more

Awful!

We booked a 'superior' double room as no standard available, the room was very very small, poky and dark, with very dated furniture, what should have been a double bed was 2 single beds pushed together with individual linen for each bed. The bathroom was just ok, but not superior at all. Breakfast was a meagre affair, with just eggs,... more
