We have just returned from our second stay at the Die Swaene and once again it surpassed our expectations. The staff are wonderful and cannot do enough for you. The rooms are decorated to perfection and everything is catered for. I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel to anyone. more

Fabulous hotel, both sophisticated and friendly. We were lucky enough to have a room overlooking the canal which was lovely. Whilst there, we took advantage of the free guided walk of Brugge, offered by the hotel each Monday, which was excellent. Enjoyed Brugge very much, took a day trip with Quasimodo tours out to Ypres and Flanders’ Fields, very moving... more

What a lovely hotel! Very peaceful and yet so near the main square, so peaceful that you thought you were the only ones in the hotel, until breakfast time! Staff were lovely, friendly and helpful. A great hotel. more

My daughter and I spent three days at this hotel and had a lovely time. The hotel staff were especially charming and helpful, and our room overlooking one of the canals could not have been nicer. We were only a little disappointed not to have been placed in the older part of the hotel - the advantage for us was... more

My wife and I spent three wonderful days and nights at this great hotel. The staff went overboard to assist us with our every need-recommendations for dinner, directions and bookings. The location is perfect- on a lovely quiet canal within walking distance of everything-just off the Markt Square. The room was spacious and well appointed, Ours had a private patio.... more

My boyfriend and I booked at Die Swaene as our first choice, the Pand Hotel was fully booked. After much research I agree with all the other reviews that this is a great hotel. We were made to feel very welcome as soon as we arrived by Stephanie and Fred, who gave us city maps, discount cards and restaurant guides.... more

My husband and I spent a 2 night Valentines break at this charming hotel. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. On arrival they parked our car for us in the carpark just across the canal and took our bags up to our room while we were given a short tour around the hotel. Our room was on the top... more

We stayed two nights in this lovely charming hotel and spent a very relaxing time, enjoying the secrets of Bruges, the excellent food of the Pergola Kaffee (on the other side of the canal), the memorable breakfeast buffet and the calm atmosphere of the hotel. The hotel staff is just great, efficient and helpful. The hotel is also well decorated... more

We spent last weekend in Bruges and we were very happy with our choice of hotel. Hotel Die Swaene is centrally located in the historical part of the town, yet very quiet and along one of the famous canals. Our room was spotlessly clean and nicely decorated, beds were comfortable, turndown service very adequate. The staff was extremely helpful and... more

Hotel die swaene had been recommended to us by friends and we were absolutely thrilled. Our deluxe room no 34 met up to our expectations : spacious, well chosenfabrics, nice furniture, oak flooring and wonderful view on the canal. But most of all the ambiance of the hotel is special. Cosy bar and relaxing swimming pool and the pergolaKaffee severs... more
