Booked this hotel for 2 nights. Travelled with my wife, a friend and his wife. Booked with Expedia for around £40 a night. Found the hotel with little problem (thanks tomtom). Checked in at around 8pm. Was a breeze and was given a room on the 3rd floor. Was allocated a room with a connecting door. Have had problems with... more

We have just returned from 2 nights at this out of town hotel. First impressions were not great due to the location (2 kms out - taxi needed) however we thought that being next to parkland and close to bike tracks made up for this a little. The outdoor area by the restaurant is nice on a warm day for... more

I recently spent one night at this hotel on a trip though Europe. As others have said it is just north of the city center and it would be a long walk. I was able to drive closer to the center and find parking easily creating a much shorter walk. I found the hotel to be very nice. It was... more

We stayed three nights at the Apollo during mid-November. The hotel is 2km at least away from the city centre and we did not attempt to walk it. However, the hotel operates an excellent shuttle system with a local taxi firm. You buy a return voucher at reception for 14 Euros (7 each way), they call the taxi, you hand... more

An ordinary, modern, three-star businessman's hotel, this hotel is somewhat hard-to-find in an unprepossessing industrial suburb or Bruges. Near-by roadworks & road closures currently make the task of finding this place exceedingly difficult, especially at night during foul weather. Once found, this hotel turns out to have a surprisingly peaceful location surrounded by woods, parkland and and pasture, very much... more

OK, so it is a 1- 2 kilometre walk into the egg-shaped town of Brugge. But you get efortless and free car parking, excellent rooms, quality breakfast, a comfortable lounge, a small gym and sauna (free) and of course getting in and out of town and carparking in town is actually reasonably cheap any way. The only downside is that... more

Stayed here in early June for 2 nights and can thoroughly recommend the hotel. Booked a double room with extra bed for a small child and the weekend room rate was less than 90 Euros including breakfast (there is no charge for children less than 12 years old). The one downside is that the hotel is a little out of... more

This was an absolutely standard hotel in terms of good, clean rooms, decent beds (two singles pushed together, as is standard in much of northern europe) and a reasonably sized bathroom. Just what we would have expected from a Hilton associated hotel. What we didn't bargain for was the exceptional welcome we got from the receptionist. She was incredibly informative... more

Reception staff were helpful and service was good. Free car parking was a bonus. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a wide choice of food. It is a pleasant 2km walk into the city centre. more

The Scandic is well placed for visiting the beautiful and interesting city of Brugge. It is set in a large park on the outer ring road about 2km from the old city. We walked into the town using the route provided at reception. They arrange a very useful taxi service to and from the town. For 14 euros you get... more
