Bus driver knew where hostel was, which was helpful. Stayed here for only one night. Room was small, but sheets were clean. Showers weren't cleaned regularly (bring sandals). I went on a weekend stay with the University of Derby and couldn't have had a better time. the rooms were clean with plenty of space, the staff were very friendly and the food at the restaurant was lovely!!! the only problems i had were that our room was directly above the bar and we could hear the music playing... more

My worse experience ever !! They made me and my wife wait for a room from 10pm to 2am because the system was down. From the outside, the hostel doesn't look bad. When we got to our room however, we were suprised with how dirty it was. We slept with the lights on because we were scared roaches might come out at night. The worst part was the shower. It is a button. No hot or cold! Just... a button. You hold it down... more
