Fantastic hotel, situated where the canal diverge in three different directions. We had a room with canal view and we were very pleased. The view was fantastic, in both directions, we had room 114 so could see right along the canal and its lovely buildings. We had 3 windows, 2 of which faced the canal and opened inward so you... more

We stayed here for 4 nights with our teenagers. The rooms were beautifully clean, ample breakfast,( though not such a good selection as another hotel in Bruges at the same rate....). The bathrooms were ample big enough for us, the only down side being no lounge/bar to sit in the evening or day had it been wet...which it wasn't thankfully.... more

We stayed here for 2 nights during the half-term break. Easy to find by car and secure parking (8 Euro per 24 hr) nearby. This is a simple and clean B&B. Hotel is too grand a title as there is little beyond a small reception, breakfast room and your bedroom. No lounge or bar. So take it for what it... more

This was a gorgeous hotel in so many ways, comfy beds, quiet, beautiful setting, close to the centre, lovely breakfast, friendly staff, the only draw back was the size of the bathroom, as someone has previously mentioned they are a bit on the small side. My mother and I (4'11 and 5'3 respectively) struggled with the size of the shower... more

we were here for one night only and if it had been longer, the bathroom situation may have bothered us. it's tiny. but we expected this based on the reviews we read. the room was comfortable and clean and the staff was very pleasant. it's right on a canal and quite lovely - like all of bruges. more

I stayed here with 9 friends. The rooms were lovely - mine overlooked the canal which was beautiful, while some of my friends had ones overlooking the courtyard with huge bathrooms. With a 'continental' breakfast we didn't know what to expect but were delighted with the range and quality of food set out for us. Highlights included warm boiled eggs,... more

This hotel is a little gem! We booked a room with a canal view through Hotels.com and we weren’t disappointed. To sit on the window ledge and watch the world going by was amazing. The room was good and yes the bathrooms are small but this is a family run hotel which has updated by adding en-suite facilities to the... more

My Boyfriend and I have just got back form a two night stay at the Ter Reien. The hotel is amazing right on the cannel and a few minutes from the town. I agree with other reviewers definitely pay for a cannel view room, we were in room 11, the windows opened directly on too the cannel, by the end... more

Bruges is a lovely place. The people here are so friendly and the city is amazing. My wife and I had a great time walking around the city getting lost and found and loving every second of it. Jupiler is the beer and waffles are everywhere (as is erotic chocolate!). Ter Reien was VERY handy, 2min walk to the main... more

Don't disregard the reviews about the bathroom. I'm 5'5", a buck and a quarter and the bathroom was too small for me. It was a 4 x 5 plastic unit put in the corner of the room. I could touch both sides of the bathroom cubicle and my arms weren't fully extended. The front desk staff was either too tired... more
