o.k. Lets decide what we all want from a city hotel. Clean , quiet , friendly , comfortable , central location , good breakfast and reasonably priced. My wife and I have just returned from the Bryghia , having stayed for 3 nights in room 35 (canal view) and in our opinion this hotel ticks all the boxes. One tiny... more

Four of us stayed here for a 4 night break in May 2008 and really couldn't fault the hotel. Having read through the previous reviews the main bones of contention seemed to be with regards to the Breakfast and the location of the hotel. Personally I think the location was brilliant. How people can complain about a walk of less... more

My husband and I stayed in Hotel Bryghia for 2 nights with our 15 year old son. The hotel is in a quiet location with a 7-10 minute walk to the main square (Markt). The hotel itself was very clean and the room was very large. We were on the 4th floor and relied on the lifts quite a bit.... more

We had a four day stay here in April 2008. As we intended to spend little time in the Hotel we opted for a room without a canal view, in hindsight we think this was a wise choice. The room was comfortable, clean and of adequate size and was basically what we expected having read the reviews. Breakfasts were good,... more

We have just returned from an excellent City Break in Bruges, Belgium. We stayed at the Bryghia Hotel and have no complaints whatsoever. We paid a little extra for a canal view room, ( room 28 on the 1st floor) and was worth every penny. The room was a good size, full size over bath shower, mini bar, tea &... more

My wife and I stayed 3 nights in a group with 2 other couples. We all loved the hotel. Great location, characterful furnishings, spotlessly clean, friendly & helpful service, great breakfast. For the money paid we couldn't find a fault. more

Being meaning to do this ever since we came back in August 2007. Four of us stayed here and thought it was great. Close to city centre and in easy walking distance. Loved the stairs which keep you fit. Friendly owner and staff. Clean and tidy room although ours had a small bathroom. Great breakfast. Just love Bruge and would... more

Overall we were really pleased with the hotel. It is an excellent and quiet location away from the noise of the city where the narrow streets amplify the noise. Five minute walk from the main square and many restaurants. Downstairs lounge was attractive. The breakfast buffet offered a good choice of continental type breakfast as well as boiling your own... more

Booked four days in Bruges, travelling by Eurostar and having read the reviews on T.A. decided to stay at the Bryghia. Im so glad we did as the hotel is lovely, in a great location and amazing value for money. The hotel is situated in a small and very quiet square only five minutes walk from the Markt. Its very... more
