We arrived late morning and were awed as we stepped into the hotel. The hotel is luxuriously appointed, yet instills an instant sense of comfort. The hotel is well staffed and the staff are fully service oriented. The location is perfect from which to visit the city and nearby World War I landmarks. The room was comfortable and large for... more
A suberbly located hotel, right in the centre. We had a standard room on the top floor. Very comfortable, especially the bed, but quite a small room and no wow factor as I expect you would get with the better rooms - no complaints though. The breakfast is amazing though, with everything you could wish for plus champagne and a... more
We stayed 3 nights in the hotel. It is centrally located on a canal. The hotel is beautifully appointed, as are the rooms. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. However, the Superior room we had was a 3rd floor dormer and while nicely appointed, had virtually no space to lay out luggage or put away clothing. In addition, the... more
I'll put it out there - De Tuilerieen is without doubt the nicest hotel I've ever stayed in and I've stayed in some good hotels. I loved this place! I would go back now! From arrival, staff were so friendly, trying to organise what we could do in Bruges and giving us ideas, catered to what we had come for.... more
We stayed two nights ( June 1-3, 2009) at Hotel de Tuilerieen. The room, service, and value were outstanding. We had a large room on the second floor overlooking the canal. The personnel (especially Vanessa, Charlotte, and Wim) were extremely courteous, helpful, and professional regarding restaurant suggestions, places to visit, etc. We have traveled extensively in many countries and it... more
We had a wonderful stay at Tuilerieen hotel. We have a baby and a 4 year old so it was sometimes hard to find hotels in Europe that could accomodate us in one room. The Tuilerieen gave us a room with a large, comfortable bed and a sofabed and room for a crib. It was a tight fit but at... more
Belated review, stayed here on a 2nt mid week break last summer. We arrived very early due to the North Sea Ferry transfer, well before check in time and received a warm welcome, the staff were most helpful in storing our luggage and suggesting places to see. Lovely individually styled room on the top floor overlooking rooftops, very quiet and... more
Very friendly hotel - helpful staff - right next to the Groeninge Museum in the centre. We stayed in a room on the third florr which was beautifully quiet; we recommend also the bar for easing down with a drink at the end of the evening. Bruges is transformed once the crowds have gone in the evening and the hotel... more
Stayed at this hotel for three nights to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary. Excellent deal with SuperBreak booked on the internet. Hotel was perfect, situated on the canal near the main square. Highlight was the superb buffet breakfast which included champagne and chocolate fountain. Bedroom lovely overlooking cobbled street and canal. Staff very friendly and extremely helpful. Pool and Spa... more
