We stayed in December. We stayed in one of the already renovated rooms which are clean, pretty and well laid out. The ladders and railings for the bunks are particularly impressive. We could live with the ongoing renovations, but in January you need heating and hot water. Both were freezing. It's a great location, and the room we had was clean and comfy, it will be great once the decorations are complete....so long as they sort the water out and warm the place up a bit!

Let's face it, the place is going through some renovations, so if a little plaster or construction material bothers you, then maybe find somewhere else.
