As a European style hotel, it was a great stop for what we wanted - a decent room in a great location. Rooms are small however all the amenities you require are in your very small room. The rooms were clean and we were woken by the bells early in the morning.....which might sound irritating, but was actually quite cool.... More

My partner and I stayed at this hotel early December 2011. The reception staff was polite and welcoming. We were allocated room 6 on the groundfloor, being on the side of the garden, the room was very quiet and therefore we had 3 restful nights. We enjoyed the decor with its old fashioned antique feel. Being there in December, the... More

We stayed in this hotel in july 2010, sorry for the delay in a review being written. Our room was on the bottom floor and had an incredible view of the little canal outside, very picture perfect. The hotel is only a short walk from the town centre, where there are plenty of restaraunts and cafes, as well as tourist... More

This is a lovely hotel and is in a fantastic area, near everything within a few minutes walk. From the station you can get a bus or taxi (only €7.50) and a couple of minutes drive. The staff were so helpful especially Bregt. The beds were so comfy and provided a great nights sleep to refuel for the next days... More

This place is fantastic - our kids called it the haunted house (not scary - just exciting). All the furniture is amazing and the breakfast we had was the best we ate in 6 countries across Europe. If you have 3 people try to get room 33 or 34 - It has a separate single bed room and double bed... More

Were here from 28 Dec to 3rd Jan 2012. It was the second time in this hotel. What was suprised - hold extra 50 euro per day for gaurantee that we wouldn't break anything. It was said at the reception. But. Neither at booking.com, nor at the hotel's site, there is no a word about such feature. So, prepare for... More

Boutique hotel booked from reviews from Trip Adviser, got a taxi from the station who took us to the wrong Martin Relais so be aware. Asked for a high floor room with a balcony facing the peaceful garden which they kindly accommodated (room 25). The room was 'cosy' but authentic with wooden beams (beware serious concussion if you forget they... More

We stayed here for a short break and had a great time, centrally located only ten minutes from the centre of Bruge (everywhere is ten minutes) right beside a canal. More

4 of us (2 couples) went for a long weekend to the Xmas markets. (16-19th dec 2011), we arrived from the Eurostar , around 8pm, - cold and wet ( heavy rain) reception was excellent and helpful. We had rooms facing the garden, sleeped perfectly in a quiet room, the room was excellent and very clean. Breakfast is 15euro if... More

The only thing I can really comment on is the room, as we had practically no interraction with reception other than to check in and out (both very effecient), and we never used the breakfast room as there is no way as long as my [--] points downwards that I will ever pay €20 for a breakfast. (not with the... More
