We stayed thre nights in the Attic room which is in a shopping street a few minutes walk away from the main bed and breakfast and within easy walking distance of the main square. We stayed for 2 nights in the attic suite of the annex to the 1669 B&B. It exudes the charm that we were seeking. There was a wonderful patio with a peekaboo view of the cathedral. The room was well laid out and had loads of character. We felt like it was a little secret hideaway. more

We stayed at 1669 for two nights between xmas and new-year. From the moment we dropped off our luggage at 10.00 until we checked out we knew 1669 was different to anywhere else.
