On the historic main square of Kortrijk, I've discovered a little 'Grand Hotel'. Though this boutique hotel dates from the French Revolution, you 'll find no musty corners or creaky halls, but great modern comforts & lovely artworks !!! I really enjoy staying at the Damier (ideally situated at the historic market square Kortrijk) when travelling to Belgium, as it is so much different to other hotels...this boutique & lifestyle hotel seems to find a balance between cultural heritage & innovation.
