First, the good--fairly clean although considerably small and sparce; full English breakfast, although toast was burnt; good location with a short walk to the town center and gate Problems--The rooms are your typically small, cramped European rooms for this class of accommodations, but much dingier and poorly lit than most. The Shellhole Hotel located in Ypres is a totally fabulous place to stay. The hosts, John & Christine, go out of their way to make you welcome and feel part of the family.
