We've stayed one night, during winter. The room was confortable, with a balcony and view to the swimming pool and the city walls. Its pretty much the standard new hotel with one or two details related to the surroundings. The breakfast was good, but I expected more varity.

Spent the night here in late December having taken the train from Lisbon. Has a wonderful feel in the lobby, very Moorish / North African, large room w/ a great terrace. Helpful service. Easy walk to the sights in town. Nice restaurant, good menu and food. Nice, cozy bar area. 5 minute cab ride from the train station.

Friendly helpful staff and clean. Some of the furniture in rooms due for a makeover and not really a 4* more like a 3*. A little expensive for what you get. I stayed two nights at this hotel. The rooms are beautifully appointed and attractively furnished. It is conveniently situated just outside the city walls. Staff were friendly and helpful and the buffet dinner was good value for the price.

Moderised hotel that is still trying to retain some olde worlde charm. Room where clean, brick floored with the occasional rug. Stayed at this Hotel and used it for a base to tour the Alentejo region. The hotel was very well presented and all the services were as advertised. our stay was excellent, rooms were clean and very nice. We get an upgrade because in our first room was a noise of the central air conditioning, but the change was not a problem, because the staff already knew about this problem.
