This was not our main holiday and was just a quick getaway from the great british summer! We were allocated this appartment on arrival, and were not disappointed. Yes, the rooms are very basic, and very old fashioned, However, our room was massive and always kept very clean by the maids. At the end of the day, we were not expecting much, and just wanted a clean base to get our heads down in, Our children are 8 and 11 yrs, so the pool suited them to a tee, and due to low numbers, there was always a sunbed to be had. 100m from beach was greatest selling point, and many a day was spent there, The location of the appartments couldnt have been better - only 15 mins walk to the lively 'strip' of bars and about half mile walk along beach to old town albufeira, were you could find great fish restaurants on the beach and lovely areas for families to be fed and entertained.
