We stayed half board for two weeks in late June early July. Even then the Hotel didn't seem full. We never waited more than a minute for the lifts and easily finding a seat in the buffet restaurant. The Sol E Mar just has a terrific location! It is built into the cliff so you enter reception at street level on the Top Floor (Floor 5) and go down to the rooms. Level 0 opens onto the top of the sea wall and a few steps and you are on the beach. It does not attract young people... more

Fantastic location & views, right on the beach. Mainly elderly people staying (we are 30) & evening entertainment catered towards them - cabaret, folklore, ballroom dancing etc. However you can take drinks up to your room & sip them on the balcony, so wasn't a problem for us.
