Bathroom grotty, and bedroom carpets badly stained. View and beach lovely, and owner very helpful. Would not go back to this apartment more

Just back from no 58 great seaview but that's about all. Outside apartment block very shoddy one of the lifts was out of order. Situated near beach down a very narrow dirt track at bottom of a steep slope.Limited parking. Over priced for this very basic accomodation . Bed cheap and noisy, unable to sleep due to noise of springs... more

apartment 43.first thing to say about this apartment was the crawlies that were all over the floor when we turned the lights on, after a night out. nothing more to say really,unless you like this sort of thing. more

hi we arrived on the 28th of july 2007 for a 2 weeks stay , the room was very spacious for a studio by far the biggest i have even been in,very well equipt and clean, defo no complaints (room 16), it was not modern by all means a bit dated but who cares if we wanted 5* modern facilities... more

Well we arrived after a very pleasant journey to our apartment. What a disappointment! It really was very basic and dirty. Someone had quite obviously been ill in our toilet and it had not been cleaned, there was a big pile of rubbish under the sink and for some reason the fridge had been pulled out from under the units... more

Stayed in Rm 31, double bed studio. Clean apartment but bed awful, very creaky, falling apart, ended up putting mattress on floor to get some sleep. Kettle lead had wires hanging out and had been burnt on cooker, no battery in smoke alarm. Poor selection of crockery (slept 3 but only one wine glass, one side plate, one bowl ...).... more

Have just returned from a week at the Praia Dos Averios apartments, and had a generally enjoyable stay. Plus points: Very spacious rooms, adequate kitchen with decent cooker and fridge, but I doubt many people will spend much time cooking. Large sun terrace for first floor guests.
