How anyone can complain about this hotel!, everyone makes you feel so welcome. Anna, Joanna and wonderful Fatima make your stay at this hotel very special. I don't know where the pictures came from on the trip advisor posts. but it's not what we experienced. The room smelt of damp, the bed stank, we left after just the one night. more

Arrived back from the Mansao Betolina for the 4th year on 3 June 2008. What an improvement from last year. The construction work is almost at an end but certainly never spoiled our holiday anyway. The Bertolina is a wee gem in the heart of the old town, you would never come across it unless specifically looking for it. Just 12 rooms, small pool and terrace all well looked after and board on a bed and breakfast basis. Dave and Jackie just returned 2-06-06. Hotel is all that people say, it's great, small and friendly. BEWARE of the construction work taking place in the old square and all surrounding areas. No old square left, no roads, no pavements, only noise and dust. Most restaurants around rhe square are closed - Heavy plant moves in to start the building... more
