We were a party of seven, ranging in age from ten years old to seventy. We found the villa to be really nice - modern, clean and well-equipped. However, the distances given by the owner to the strip etc. were very misleading and it was about twice as far in reality. The house is situated on a main road. We would recommend renting a car, or being prepared to travel everywhere by taxi, as the walk into the strip is along the busy main road, with very narrow pavements unsuitable for walking.
The beaches and old town were lovely, but definitely a taxi ride away (about 5 Euros) and NOT within walking distance as the owner claims. The small supermarket next door was our lifeline as we were also able to use their phone to ring for taxis every day. When booking we had been assured by the owner that a car was not necessary, but after our experience we would disagree!
