We usually stay at Porto Bay Hotels in Madeira, and this is our first holiday in Algarve at Porto Bay Falesia, and we were not dissapointed. I have just returned from a week at this hotel.the food facilties location staff everything is excellent.the director and his staff are a credit to their company the resort is quiet but certainly much more preferable to alberfura etc.the algarve weather was excellent but while nice as a holiday area in spring etc in summer it is far too busy... more

Lovely hotel, a credit to the Porto Bay group. Friendly helpful staff, very well run. A bit quiet out of season in January, we expected that. Slight niggles - the shower in our bathroom went from warm to cold to scalding without warning, could be dangerous. We arrived without luggage thanks to BA, and the hotel couldn't supply any toileteries.... more

I really can't understand the last review. Someone obviously having a very off day. We have had a fantastic week at the Porto Bay Falesia. This is most definately not a hotel for those that want lively nightlife!
