When booking our trip to Portugal, we wanted to find a hotel in the Algarve a little off the beaten track, but not too far. We stayed half board and the buffet food was great- in terrms of never ending quantity. The quality was good too but not particularly Potuguese or imaginative. The rooms are real big. They need new carpet and a face lift to be real nice. The view is great. I snorkeled and saw a lot of fish the first day, but the beach isn't much unless you get a low tide. You can walk into town easily. I drove to the nearby beaches which were all really beautiful... more

Went to the Tivoli for 3 nights out of 6 night trip to the Algarve. 2 of our 3 nights were ruined by large Irish weddings. We were on top floor directly over restuarant - the music went off at midnight but particularly on the second wedding night it was hard to clear the restuarant and the noise went on... more

Stayed in Tivoli for a week with two friends - accomodation was exactly as requested two adjoining bedroms with sea views - great location, had dinner twice in hotel restaurant and found no fault with it. resort was small, but lots of choice for eating out. Would certainly return to same hotel. more
