This is an average hotel. The staff is average, the rooms are average, the breakfast buffet at the restaurant on top of the hotel is average etc. I can't put a finger on anything that I disliked, but at the same time nothing stands out... perhaps apart from the nice location next to the marina. more

Stayed here for 3 days with my husband. Love the location cos you can just walk everywhere; to the sea, harbor, old historical city, shopping area and even to bus and train station. After reading all the good reviews, we expected a nice room in a comfortable hotel. But we were very disappointed. This was another hotel and town that we lucked upon. I was told that most people skip over Faro - but we fell in love! Lovely staff in teh restaurant, beautiful food, only minutes to walk everywhere.
