Huge rooms, lots of space. The owners even cook for you if you want and it is like a big family affair. I don't remember what it was called but I had amazing fish cooked in coconut served with rice for dinner with them. We stayed up late sharing stories around the table. Amazing atmosphere and lots of bean bags... More

We stayed in en-suite double room which was very clean and comfy bedding. Had problems with the door but they promised to fix it as soon as possible. The kitchen is very spacious and has everything you need to cook a meal. They also have some ready meals and drinks to buy if you forgot to do your shopping. The... More

One of the better hostels I've ever stayed at. Love the hostel layout, and location. There is even a patio on the second level for bbq's. I did find a bag hanging in one of the showers with a long hose attached. It was kinda weird. Most of the staff members were very talkative, friendly, helpful and a joy to... More

Awesome location, and great price! Very clean. Awesome staff, however, when I was in the kitchen, they wouldn't stop taking about enemas. It was very uncomfortable, and awkward. I would consider myself fairly adventurous, but I draw the line at garden hoses in my bum.

This hostel is one of the best hostels I've ever went. The staff is very friendly, gracious and social and speak fluently English. Also their service is like in a hotel. You can ask them anything going from good restaurants to a more remote beach to go to or a good place to party. In the evening Diogo or /... More

This is a fabulous home style hostel... The experience is what will have you planning your return before you even depart. Obrigado! Casa D'Alagoa !!! I spent the day exploring the area and the evenings eating, laughing and enjoying the other hostel guests. Nuno and Diogo are the most gracious hosts and the rest of the staff will treat you... More

From the first day you will immediately feel like home! The staff is super friendly and you can join for a very cheap but tasty home cooked meal. The house is a beautiful old building that is recently completely renovated and it's cleaned every day. You can also rent bikes, towels, hairdryers,... and in summer they organise lazy sundays at...
