This is the first year i made my own holiday and i will always do it from now on cut out the middle man and save money .
I booked a villa on the internet . I also booked the transfer bookalgarvetransfer.com was the cheapest i found and praia da luz is at least hour from airport so wanted to keep travel cost down.There is lots of sightsfor accomodations and it does depend what accomodation you want which sight you use... I booked Montinhos do luz villas this is actually an area in praia da luz with many villas who use different agents, very classy well equipt and own pool 20 min walk to town but as it was so well equipt and we have young family meant we didn't feel it was neccessary to go out all the time just did a big shop an used the facilitys. there is a small bar bar caribe on the estate we used that from time to time.
We went to a marine theme park which was good and it collected us.
we think this is our way of holidaying from now on as for a family its home from home... more
