The Tivoli is very unusual and has authentic portuguese buildings.Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice.It really is a pleasant experience to stay there.Do not believe the people who say it needs upgrading as it has the charm of Portugal.In a perfect positio n to walk into the delightful town or marina.We will return to this jewel of a hotel. more

Just come back from 10 days stay at Tivoli Hotel. Hotel good and staff very friendly and courteous. Only drawback was that on their web site they stated tea and coffee making facilities included in rooms, Not so!! When asked about this they said they had not provided these facilites for some time. Having stayed for 2 weeks last year we decided to return for 2 weeks this year. We upgraded our room but were disappointed with the standard of decoration especially bathroom. also did not feel the extra cost was justified for a slightly bigger room and a dressing room. Overall the hotel itself is not bad. The rooms are very small and if you are any way clostrephobic you will suffer as there is very little room to manouvere around the bed.
