My fiancée and I stayed at this hostel when we were visiting from Seville, Spain. We came into Lagos by train, and were able to catch a cab from the train depot to the hostel. It ended up being less than a ten minute walk, but we were unaware at the time of arrival.

The hostel is simply great. We are in our early 20's and have traveled a great deal in Europe and Mexico as well as Hawaii, and always stay in hostels. And to me, this hostel is not only clean and well maintained, but for a little extra cash split between two people, you can stay in the private upstairs two bedroom in the corner. It has not only a private bath, but a private balcony as well, which overlooks the city. For $15 Euro a night it can't be beat.

The open airy patio seating in the center of the hostel is unique and a great place to hang out. The morning breakfast is moderate, but also included in your price...and as far as hostel breakfasts go it is pretty good. Croissants, coffee, jam... more
