The hotel had just been open a couple of months when we got there and the staff was more enthusiastic than skilled, however everyone was friendly and nothing to complain about. Royal garden offers an urban chic atomsophere with a bit of asian/zen style decor. Sounds like a strange idea for the Azores, but it feels very luxurious especially for around $100 a night.
