Wow, well what a place, it has to be the best kept secret on the island and thats why no one has reviewed it before! Quinta da Terca is a beautiful thoughtful conversion into the best bed abd breakfast we have ever stayed in. You arrive up the drive which is an avenue of flowers to be greeted by Christina and shown to your room. All room have four poster beds which I defy you not to have the best nights sleep of your life in. I think it is a combination of sea air and super comfortable beds. Each bed has 2 single duvets on them so if like us, one is always hot and the other cold, you arent fighting over the duvet! You are 10 minutes gentle walk to the beach, which even in October, the sea was warm to swim in, It is also where you will find the nearest restaurant, Populo, which serves good quality reasonable priced food. I would recommend arranging to eat on site though. We have never eaten Swedish food so didnt know what to expect on our first night of Christinas home cooked... more
