Professionally run Rural (you might know such places in Italy as "agriturismo") even with possibility for dinner with local specialities. However Lousa (Coimbra) is a kind of low-key area and you'll find some good and cheap restaurants in the city centre (Brazilian Churassaria was excellent value) The rooms are designed with love and attention for details. I'm not sure why I'm writing this because once others try this hotel the place will be fully booked all year. The hotel is in fantastic location and is so very well run. I gaurantee you won't stay there just once. more
