This hotel is on the hill opposite the city. There are good views from the hotel but you need to catch a taxi to get into town. The rooms were clean, quiet and a reasonable size. I stayed here with a bus tour. It is far away from town and has nothing except a view to recommend it. All of the food was cold, even the pancakes at breakfast. We did have a very nice gentleman behind the front desk during our Christmas stay. more

This place sucked. The rooms smelled and the carpet needed changing. The location was not the best unless you had a car or took a taxi in to the town. To walk to town, you are on a narrow path besides a major roadway. Staff were rude and not helpful. more

The hotel was very clean, the room above average, the view (of Coimbra) from the room spectacular, and the breakfast (hot, with several meats) excellent.
