This hostel is really lacking in a lot of departments, and seems to have changed a lot from the reviews 2 years ago. By far the best hostel i have been in and that is judged against hostels in asia and australasia. Both the facilities and the hospitality were fantastic, Jack and Kate are brilliant, really knowledgable about the local area and jack was great with telling us when and where to SURF! It's the worse hostel where I and my group (5 people) slept during my travel in Portugal from Lisboa to Porto... The staff is unpleasent and devil-may-care. In the night there isn't nobody to control the situation, anyone can make noise or shout and there isn't nobody that say anything. And in the morning the bathrooms (two for 22 people!!!!)... more
