This is a 4*-hotel with characteristics of 4* in the 19xx's! A lot of dark wood, red carpet, brass and silver, cream coloured tiles in the bathroom. The Hotel is located in Viseu a town in center-north of Portugal. The building has an architecture near the 50's and 60's style, that is very "solid" and heavy. The hotel is very good and very central. It's listed as a 4 star but they were still in the process of installing mini-bars. Also TV channels are limited, but because you are in the middle of the town you can take a walk and enjoy the local culture. The food at the hotel was also very good. Rooms facing... more
