The village is situated 5-10 mins walking distance from two of Portugal's best surf beaches. One of them, Praia das macas has a lovely little village with shops, great restaurants and cafes all right on the water. The studio apartments were clean, comfortable, had large triangular bathtubs with shower over and a great, private outdoor dining area.
The complex also has a small pool and a reasonably priced restaurant. Great value for money.
