Just got back from Lisbon and want to state that staying here really was the best part of being in the city centre. I havn't been in a hostel in over 8 years - memories of sharing with 20 randomns and one bathroom coupled with the fact I'm too old for the party atmosphere has kept me away from these... more

Very good hostel for teenagers -- cheap, open 24/24, breakfast till midday, and clean sanitary (which is rare among hostels!). Also free internet access within a cosy room full of DVDs and wooden puzzles. Friendly owners. more

Apparently, this is one of the newest hostels in Lisbon - it opened only last November. What can I say? It was such an excellent hostel... free Internet, all day breakfast, plasma TV with DVD, books, music and only a 5 minute walk to Bairro Alto... all this combined with the friendliness of the staff make this one of the... more
