Wonderful hotel. Located right in the heart of the city so convenient for all the city centre sights. All of the staff were extremely courteous and couldn't do enough for you. The breakfasts were just amazing with incredible variety. A beautiful, splendid old building. Would definitely stay there again. G&A

Loved this hotel where I stayed three nights....great location in the heart of the city and still my room at the back of this elegant building was very quiet. Next to public transport, restaurants, shops....everything...! Breakfast was tops...even had soy milk...staff were great...lovely decor...wifi worked...would very happily return....and I highly recommend Avenida Palace Lisbon.

We stay at the Hotel Avenida Palace about 6 times each year, having done so now for about 4 years. The hotel is beautiful, ideally located for walking around Lisbon and close to so many great restaurants. The staff are so professional and friendly - it feels like a luxurious second home. What more can I say!

Well located with helpful staff this Grand Dame of a hotel does not show its age but does show its elegance. This is not an edgy modern hotel but an old fashioned hotel of the late 19th century that has been maintained with care.

Our 4 day stay at this hotel was perfect from the moment we arrived - we were upgraded to a suite and couldn't have asked for more. Everything about this hotel oozed elegance. Central location, excellent breakfast and all the staff were very professional. Truly a memorable stay in this 'palace' which we hope to return to soon.

Super old-style hotel, great staff, wonderful building with exceptional architecture - enjoyed the fado music in the downstairs reception area. Central location made geting round the city easy. We stayed 4 nights - very comfortable rooms with delicious breakfasts (included in the price).
