Our family recently took an impromptu trip to Lisbon and we enjoyed Lisbon and the Novotel very much. This is a typical Novotel just outside the tourist area of Lisbon. The taxi from the airport is about 10 minutes and should cost about 9-10 euros (if you want to avoid the long lines, grab a taxi from the upper level).... more

Stayed Sunday to Sunday. Taxi from airport 10 minutes to hotel. Staff very nice and helpful.Recently been refurbished in minimillistic style, calm colours everywhere. Good gymnasium and swimming pool.Free access to internet for 20 minutes at a time. Bedroom very roomy and comfortable double bed. The bathroom was very stylish with a wonderful shower. Nice restaurants nearby. A visit to... more

From previous reviews we stayed here that is a good choice if you want a nice room & bath for a decent price for families with children or mature couples. If you're young, single, gay or in that type of group, you'll probably want a place in Barrio Alto where the action is. We paid $99 per night with advance... more

Wanted to give this 3.5 but rating wont enable us to. The room is clean and contemporary. The air con was ineffecient and needed attention. The bathroom is spacious and above average for this class of hotel. We loved the 2 different showers you could use and the daily restocked complimentary toiletries. There was an excellent selection for buffet hot... more

I chose Novotel mainly for price. I needed to book two rooms for four nights and did not want to spend to much; on the other hand I would have liked to find an international level hotel. Booking my rooms more than 20 days in advance, I got a daily rate of 89 €, breakfast included which was a great... more

I've stayed 2 nights in the Novotel Lisboa. A taxi ride from the airport costs about 7 euros to the hotel, so it's cheap and worth taking a taxi. The rooms are really huge with a large and nice bathroom. Just check, if you have a communicating room, that the doors between the 2 rooms are closed because it was... more

We had a 3 night stay at this hotel prior to taking a cruise from Lisbon. The hotel is located north of the city center, and located approximately 4 blocks from the Metro station and also the Lisbon Zoo. As with other Novotel's I have stayed at, the room was large with 1 double bed and a pull out sofa.... more

This hotel is your typical chain hotel with little heart but pretty standard. The rooms are clean & comfortable. The bathroom is pleasant with a nice over head shower. The in-room entertainment is very poor offering only local television, the odd German, French & BBC world service channels. With a little effort I'm sure they could offer pay to view... more

Both the room and bahroom are very comfortable, clean and modern. However, it`s a very commercial hotel. Wi-fi and breakfast are overpriced and there's only one computer with free internet access at the lobby. The location isn't really interesting, as it`s a new commercial area, with modern buildings and hotels, though is easy to find. It's a "safe choice", and... more

We stayed at the Novotel for 4 nights. While the property is not in the middle of Lisbon, it is very close to the Metro and the Metro is very cheap and efficient. The area around the Novotel is surrounded by office buildings, but there is a nearby market. There is also a Post Office across the road from the... more
